We're a community of marketing and communications pros figuring out our field in real time.

Join us to learn how to do great work, prove its value, and make smart calls about AI, together.

The Marcomm Grind was born in the trenches of resource-strapped marketing departments and nimble communications teams. Doing more with less is in our DNA, and it always will be.

But the ground under this profession has shifted. AI changed the job, and nobody sent the manual. Now every one of us, whether we're a team of one or part of a big org, is holding the same stack of questions. Do I use AI? Am I behind? Is this tool worth it? Will people trust my work if I do? Should I even be talking about this?

That's what this community is for now. Not to tell you AI is the future. Not to push you toward building AI-native everything (though if that's your goal, you'll find your people here). We're here to help you do your job the way you've always done it well, and figure out, honestly and out loud, where AI fits into it. Sometimes the answer is "everywhere." Sometimes it's "not here, and here's why." Both answers count.

Our mission is the same as it's always been, which is to turn the daily grind into a launchpad. Share what works. Flag what doesn't. Ask the question you think everyone else already knows the answer to. (They don't. We promise.)

OUR MEMBERS

The heartbeat of The Marcomm Grind is our crew of pros at every stage of figuring this out:

  • The solo marketer running a startup's entire brand, deciding which AI tools actually earn a spot in the workflow
  • The lean comms team keeping up with corporate giants, and wondering if AI is how they close the gap
  • The consultant figuring out how to build with AI, and how to talk to clients about it
  • The in-house pro on a bigger team trying to get AI into the budget, or into the conversation at all
  • The marketing leader who needs an AI policy before the team improvises one
  • The agency owner deciding when and how to disclose AI in client work
  • The comms veteran who's great at the job and quietly wondering if that's still enough

From AI skeptics to daily power users, fresh-faced newcomers to battle-tested veterans, our members share the POV that we'd rather figure this out together than pretend we've got it handled alone. Here, the size of your team doesn't matter, and neither does the number of AI tools you've touched. What counts is your willingness to share what you're learning.

Every challenge shared is an opportunity for collective problem-solving. Every experiment, including the ones that flop, becomes something the rest of us can learn from. It's a place where "I've never tried that before" turns into "let's figure it out together."

Welcome to The Marcomm Grind, where marketing and communications pros come to elevate their craft, navigate what's next, and redefine what's possible.
